Jacqui and Dan’s San Rafael garden engagement session took place on a rare, balmy day in January. No bulky hats and jackets required! Jacqui envisioned lush greenery as the setting for their couples’ portraits, and we aim to please. Luckily winter is when things are at their greenest in the San Francisco Bay Area. We chose to meet in the late afternoon and I couldn’t have asked for more perfect lighting.
We chose a few different settings, including a picturesque garden gate. This time of year is one of my favorites because some of my favorite things are in bloom: delicate pink Magnolia blossoms, flowering cherries, and azaleas, all casting splashes of color to the background. Jacqui and Dan were relaxed, confident and lovely together. If their San Rafael garden engagement session is any indication of what’s to come on their wedding day, great things are in store!
